Teaching
Biological Physics Major Option.
- 4th year Physics course, started in 2006. Prof. Kapanidis delivers the "Gene storage, maintenance and expression" module, along with an introduction to single-molecule fluorescence and super-resolution imaging (8 lectures).
Biological Physics practical course.
- A 3rd year Physics course that introduces students to experimental Biophysics. The experiments involve application of light microscopy, optical tweezers, atomic force microscopy, and single-molecule fluorescence to biological molecules, cells and organisms.
