Our lab welcomes expressions of interest from talented prospective students and postdocs. No need to wait for an advertised position to make contact. We do have openings that require a specific background and skills (e.g., in microbiology, biochemistry, microscopy, and data analysis), but equally we do welcome applications from highly motivated and independent researchers who have shown that they can learn quickly and can jump over "discipline barriers".

To express your interest, email Professor Achilles Kapanidis including a CV, your research interests, and a detailed statement on why you would like to join our "Gene Machines" team; note that we will not be able to respond to emails with no clear and specific references to our lab. If you are not enquiring about an open position, please include a discussion on possible fellowships that you are eligible for.
